24 HOUR EMERGENCY RESPONSE:
We now provide this service to include assistance in the early stages of a major incident, creation of holding statements, handling media via telephone and face to face, arranging press briefings and conferences if required. We can work with your press office or take full control of all aspects of media handling, the choice is yours! Media Answers has a team of dedicated and experienced responders in Aberdeen and Norfolk. They are each given individual mobile phones for emergency response use only so you will always receive an instant response from our duty rota holder. Each team member works on a 7 day rota period that will coincide with your weekly changeover so regardless of your changeover being on a Friday at 9am or a Sunday at Midnight, we will work in tandem with your incident management team.
Each responder comes from either a media, journalistic or public relations background and they are all fully aware of the company needs to ensure a fast and accurate information flow during the early stages of any incident. As part of our generic media plan we include templates for holding statements and updates. An audit of your existing media plans can be included within your individual package.
We can only work with your company if we fully understand your procedures and limitations. It's pointless calling us when the incident has already taken place as we need to know exactly how your company will react during a major incident. By including us in the consultation stages of your media plan we will be in a much better position to ensure that your company comes across as caring and professional.
MEDIA CONSULTANCY:
Media Answers can now provide a consultancy service looking at your emergency plans, helping draft your holding statements & press releases and if required, we can even provide a spokesperson to handle television and radio interviews. We can assist by facilitating press conferences, arranging one to one interviews, dealing with initial media enquiries and helping your telephone responder’s teams. Several of our clients engage us to run through a Q & A session with their media spokespeople before an interview. Your existing media plans can also be reviewed and updated as part of our consultancy service.
We have written and produced a standard media plan that can be adapted and modified to suit your company requirements. From pre-approved holding statements through to generic Q and As along with standard company messages, we can provide you with the correct level of support and back up. The media plan is very often too long and too detailed so we can edit your existing documents to be more user friendly during a major incident or completely re-write an individual media plan to suit your company.
Media Answers can also help you with presentations to your senior management or interested stakeholders when it comes to media related issues. In the case of some overseas clients, your senior management or board of directors may not be fully aware of the UK and International media expectations and, with the use of up to date examples, we can help produce your PowerPoint presentation for use at meetings or "town hall" style events.
