For the 2nd year running these two teams meet in the final and there was real drama in the first leg at Somerset with engine problems, falls and general bad luck keeping the home side's scores down. The Money Centre Stars took full advantage to go back to the Norfolk Arena with a two point lead. The luck was reversed in the 2nd leg with Kings Lynn losing Chris Mills after a fall in his 2nd ride but the Rebels ended up with a 5 man team after Jordon Frampton was ruled out. The DVD ends with another Kings Lynn celebration and the full presentation is included in this special production. A must for every Stars Fan as the team take the KO cup for the 3rd year in a row!

All the hard work was done at Perry Barr in the first leg as the Kings Lynn team set about their mission with real determination to take a 12 point lead back to the Norfolk Arena. A series of rain offs and team changes for both sides saw a very different looking 2nd leg line up but the home side were determined to hold on the silverware they won in 2006.

All the action from both legs plus plenty of interviews makes this DVD a real collectors item for both sets of fans as the Brummies cap a fine return year making it to a national final!

This was billed as a challenge match but you would never believe it when the riders took to the track. A chance for the Leicester fans to regroup after years without speedway and a real test for the home team with the lions tracking talent from the Premier and Elite League.

Kevin Doolan, Lewis Bridger and Sergey Darkin all provided great entertainment and, once again, it was that man Chris Holder who led the scoring for the opposition.

It's always entertaining when Kings Lynn meet Somerset in the league. Both teams contested the 2006 KO cup final and the Rebels were out to make up for their surprise home defeat to the Stars earlier in the season. Chris Holder made a fine choice of guest replacing Magnus Zetterstrom who took ill on the day of the meeting and there was plenty of support from Emil Kramer and Simon Walker.              Picture Gallery

Welcome to Honie's picture gallery for 2007! It's been an interesting start to the season and we have been involved in a couple of big meetings starting off with the Elite League Pairs in April.

It's a tough job but somebody has to do it!

We have a brand new electronic scoreboard at the Norfolk Arena this year and it even includes lap times plus heat details and race information.

Gone are the days of the elastic 2 minutes as the countdown appears there too!

Team  spirit at Kings Lynn is first class again this year and some of the riders makes sure they are noticed without their helmets on!

Now you can see why we named him James "Badger" Brundle!

Daniel Nermark having a bad hair day too????

IIt didn't stop him scoring another maximum though !!!

Did Zorro grab a big handful off the track too? Caption contest time!

What did the Super7 girl say next?

The winning email came from Glasgow fan Ian Robertson who suggested the comment may have been " When you said can I give you a hand I didn't think you meant that exactly!!"

Ian chose a copy of the Kings Lynn v Glasgow Premier Trophy meeting.

If you're feeling really creative, you might also want to caption this?

Thanks to Helen Hardingham of Norwich who's caption was " Bet you can't put a rowntrees fruit pastel in YOUR mouth without chewing it!"

Helen picked Stars v Birmingham as her prize. Look out for more caption contests before the end of the year!

Kings Lynn staged the Elite League Riders Championship in front of the Sky cameras. The chance was too good to miss and Sophie joined me on the centre for a chat and to swap phone numbers

Don't worry Scotty, it was your number I wanted! Thanks to Stars fan Andy Harrod who sent us these photos from that meeting.

If you have any photos you would like to put on this site send them via email and we'll try and place them in the gallery for you.

Somebody(?) came up with a bright idea to raise money for  Garry Stead and the plan was a match race at Mildenhall between two old timers who really should know better........

My team mechanics Adam on the left and Luke in the centre were both in the junior grasstrack part of the day.

Lawrence was quicker on the parade truck than on the bike!

Getting into practice by helping Luke get started!

As for Lawrence? He was quite happy to let others do the work !

Enough time for me to argue with the ref about the start positions!

Don't think my mechanics  look that impressed somehow?

Smile and wave boys, smile and wave after a fine victory...

It's amazing who you can pick up on a speedway track these days as Lawrence discovered when he hitched a lift to smile and wave!

The trouble is, he enjoyed going round so much, we had to race all over again.............

I won that too............

It was all in a good cause and we raised loads of cash for Garry Stead so thanks to you if you were one of our sponsors.

More pictures to come soon from the Kings Lynn end of season dinner.
